Nigel Groome, CMF AdviserNigel Groome is working closely with Anglican Catholic Future to restore and encourage the development of liturgical music at all levels. He is passionate about using the powerful tool of music for mission and outreach.

Nigel is Organist and Director of Music at Beckenham Parish Church and Director of the Wareham Choral Society. For a number of years he worked for the Royal School of Church Music, most recently as the Regional Music Adviser for the South-West of England. From 2009-2012, he was tutor to the organ scholars at Queen's College, Cambridge.


Under his direction, the choir of Beckenham Parish Church has visited the USA, Estonia, Latvia, and Belgium. The choir broadcasts regularly for the BBC.

In the early part of 2001, Nigel spent a period as visiting organist of Grace Cathedral, San Francisco. Nigel has given many organ recitals in this country, including St Paul's and Westminster Abbey.

Nigel is an Associate of the Royal School of Church Music and a Fellow of the Guild of Church Musicians. He is also a graduate and Fellow of the London College of Music.
